Charlie Kirk: The Truth it Revealed (About Us)

NOTE: (1) To be clear, opposing the injustice done to Charlie does not mean I support or agree with some of the divisive and inflammatory things he believed or said (because I don’t). This video is not to express my approval of everything about him - rather this video, in part, is to address how we respond to injustice, even when it happens to someone we did not agree with, identify with, or perhaps like. (2) Since posting this I’ve heard mixed things about whether or not his wife and kids were present at his death - I say in the video they were there.

In times of tragedy, our true hearts are revealed. The responses to Charlie Kirk's death have exposed something deeply troubling about where we are as Christians and as a society.

This moment, and every one like it, calls us to examine our hearts before God. Are we walking in the love as Christ commanded, or have we let tribalism and selective outrage take root?

This isn't about taking sides - it's about taking an honest look at ourselves and asking hard questions. What does my response to tragedy say about who I've become? How can we choose truth over division in a world desperate for God's light?

Join me as we navigate these difficult conversations with biblical truth, humility, and a heart surrendered to Jesus. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is speak truth, even when it's uncomfortable.
