The roots of the "NAR" Seven Mountain Mandate were in the ministries of Loren Cunningham, Bill Bright, and Francis Schaeffer in the 1970s. Bright and Schaeffer were Presbyterians, which means that their theology was Reformed. Both were influenced by Christian Reconstructionism and the teaching of the Reformed theology R. J. Rushdoony. NAR critics have left out crucial information that could shed a lot of light on the subject.
