This trip began with one of our all time favorite Bands, “Kandara” and their first concert in Pokhara, a part of a bigger mission, “Paila Ghardesh, Ani Pardesh” through which the band plans to encourage domestic tourism. After attending the amazing concert, we met up with Rajin and Balman Mama and set out for Gurjakhani. It is the last village of Myagdi, and takes two days to reach from Pokhara. The first day is a road trip upto Lamsung Village. It takes a day's hike to reach Gurjakhani from Lamsung/Lulang.

Gurjakhani is the largest Chhantyal settlement in Nepal. The village is surrounded by giant mountains but lies in a beautiful plain. Because of its remoteness, the village is extremely authentic and beautiful. We spent 3 days here, expecting snow and visiting Lingo Gadne Dada which offers a magnificent closeup view of Gurja Himal.
