Young Thug Prosecutor Wants Judge to Reprimand Defense Attorneys

The attorney for Antonio "Mounk Tounk" Sledge was back on the stand for the second day to discuss the contents of his client's plea agreement. During his cross-examination, the state alleged YSL defense attorneys made improper statements. Prosecutor Adriane Love wanted Judge Paige Reese Whitaker to admonish the attorneys, but Judge Whitaker denied the motions.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
