The Polish Air Force F-16 Tiger Demo Team delivered one of the most thrilling and visually stunning performances at the Cosford Airshow on June 8th, 2025! Their high-speed maneuvers, aggressive turns, and roaring afterburners left the crowd in awe, making it one of the highlights of the day.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon, first introduced in the 1970s, is a legendary multirole fighter known for its agility, speed, and advanced avionics. Originally developed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin), the F-16 revolutionized air combat with its fly-by-wire control system and exceptional maneuverability. Poland acquired its fleet of F-16C/D Block 52+ jets in the early 2000s, modernizing its air force and strengthening its NATO commitments.
The Tiger Demo Team, formed in 2015, showcases the raw power and precision of the Polish F-16s. Based at the 31st Tactical Air Base in Krzesiny, the team has performed across Europe, impressing audiences with their high-G turns, vertical climbs, and dynamic aerobatics. Their return to the UK airshow circuit in 2025 was highly anticipated, and they certainly did not disappoint!
