If you know me, we live at the beach. We're about a mile how the crow flies to the ocean. On a quiet night with a strong S/SW Wind, I can hear the waves crashing around the sand. Well, today is a special day for me. I took my 4 soon to be 5-year-old Andi Kate (Boogs) back to my hometown of Lincolnton NC and introduced her to farm pond fishing for Bass and Bluegill. We all started somewhere and that somewhere was a Pond similar to this. I can remember setting on Lake Wylie with my Great Grandpa Crappie Fishing not knowing that it was more than just fishing at the time. But to say I'm proud is an understatement. I bought her a 2'6'' Dock Demon made by Zebco. 6lb test line, small split shot sinkers, orange football cork, small Eagle Claw hooks and a bucket of Night Crawlers and I taught her everything you see in the video. Needless to say, she's hooked. She did everything from casting, hook setting and the whole 9. She wouldn't touch the worms or kiss the fish, but that will come in time. I don't care if this video gets 1 view or a million. This isn't about me, this is for Her and one day when I'm gone, she can always look back and where it all began. Enjoy it everyone. Tight Lines...
