AOS 3.0 Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battle Report: Ossiarch Bonereapers vs Blades of Khorne

The great necromancer strode through an avenue lined on both sides with gold laced crystal obelisks. Always ten steps behind followed a wight lord carrying the skull of Noktan Vokos on a thin grey slate.

"I am disappointed in you Noktan, there is no place for foolishness or arrogance or failure under my rule and yet you failed me".

The tall figure stopped and turned to face the skull that spun up into the air at his gesture and hung in front of him. Spirits circled it and without hesitation spun through the empty cavities of Noktan's skull, lighting the bone with the rippling greens and blues of their incorporeal essence.

"Twice I have commanded you to tasks and twice you fail me". Frost rimed anger coated the words and the crystal of the nearest obelisks was suddenly covered in a spiderweb of cracks.

"Supreme Lord, I make no excuse, I have failed. I am only fit to be ground to dust. Another should rebuild the might of the Endless Cairn and lead them to your glory"

"Glory Noktan? Glory? This is a nonsense for humans and elves, dwarfs and that fool in his shining armour. I demand control, subserviance, obedience. No, you shall bear witness. One comes now who echoes with arrogance. He leads the mindless berserkers of the slaughterer. The apocalypse they call him, lord of the end. Well I shall show him an end and his spirit will weep in eternity as an example to all"

Noktan was silent as shards of bone errupted from the ground and clashed with splinters of crystal shed from a shattered obelisk by the words of a god roused to rage. As his lord turned away he followed him, walking in his new body beside the wight who had so recently carried him. In time the echoes of their footsteps faded, the obelisk regrew and the cold empty peace of the grave was all that remained.
