A look at the two early 90s JVC SVHS VCRs I bought in 2020 for projects, the common issues that can arise in them, and how one can address them. The models featured in this video are the HR-S4700U and HR-S6800U, but these issues extend to other models that came out in the early 90s as well.
This information likely does not help with late 90s decks that use the dynamic drum system... I have no experience with those models.
