David Beckham has broken his silence amid the ongoing fiery feud with his son Brooklyn following the 26-year-old’s latest bombshell statement.
Beckham’s comments came on CNBC, where he did not mention Brooklyn specifically but reflected on the “mistakes” made by children during a discussion on social media.
“I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media. For the good and for the bad,” Beckham said.
“You have to let your children make mistakes. They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids – you sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”
The football star’s remarks follow a bombshell statement by Brooklyn, who declared he did not want to “reconcile” with his family.
