According to Kumar Gaurav, scientist of Meteorological Center, Patna, on September 17, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of South Bihar and moderate rain in other districts, while the wind speed can be 50 km per hour.Due to the deep depression over Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand, many districts of Bihar are receiving heavy rains, although the state has recorded a rainfall deficit of 26% so far.

बिहार में मानसून एक्टिव है और कई जिलों में भारी बारिश के साथ तेज हवाओं की चेतावनी जारी की गई है। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र पटना के वैज्ञानिक कुमार गौरव के अनुसार, 17 सितंबर को दक्षिण बिहार के कुछ इलाकों में भारी बारिश और अन्य जिलों में मध्यम बारिश होने की संभावना है, जबकि हवा की गति 50 किमी प्रति घंटे रह सकती है। गंगीय पश्चिम बंगाल और झारखंड में बने गहरे दबाव के कारण बिहार के कई जिलों में झमाझम बारिश हो रही है, हालांकि राज्य में अब तक 26% बारिश की कमी दर्ज की गई है।
