Dan Served woth the MIKE FORCES and assaulted Nui Coto Mtns with Flamethrowers, that they had been trained on by salty old men! That might be how he chose his SOG codename ;) He Joined SOG and was assigned to CCC, at Kontum. Ther he was assigned to the Recon Company and on RT Nevada in June of 1969 and would stay and hold the 1-1 position until September of 1969 when he went to RT Hawaii as 1-0 with Glenn Uemura He stayed until he was asked to rebuild RT Delaware in Jan/Feb 1970 He would run the team until he DEROS'd in April or May of 1970...
