Renesas MCU Car Rally 2018

This video shows the 4th European Renesas MCU Car Rally held on 1st March 2018 at the embedded world exhibition in Nuremberg.

28 teams from all over Europe, comprising over 150 students and their tutors, participated in the challenge. The task was to build a self-guided model car from a basic car kit with all components supplied by Renesas. The sensors in front are able to detect a white line on the track. The challenge was to optimize the hardware and software that auto drives the car along the white line on the track.
