Dhruv Rathee Shares AI Fiesta Update
Dhruv Rathee has revealed a major AI Fiesta update with 7 improvements. Users can now rename chats, search chats, and upload files like PDFs, docs, CSVs, and txt files. AI Fiesta added 10 more AI models and increased the monthly token limit to 3 million for ₹999, a 7.5x jump in value. The platform introduced light and dark mode, with web search coming soon. Smaller models like GPT-4o mini, GPT-5 nano, Gemini 2.5 Lite, Claude 3 Haiku, and Grok 3 Mini now default in the AI Fiesta UI, while premium models like GPT-5 consume tokens faster. Dhruv Rathee emphasized that the update makes AI Fiesta more affordable and flexible for everyday users.
Ranok Makes CNCs to Change Indian Springs
Haridwar-based Ranok, led by Vishakh Ranotra, has unveiled a 12-axis CNC wire forming machine that can bend and coil springs up to 2.5 mm in diameter. The Ranok machine uses eight adjustable slides and a rotary wire pecking system, the first of its kind in India. Ranok aims to replace imports from China, Taiwan, Japan, and Germany with locally made CNC spring machines that match global standards in accuracy and performance while lowering costs. Springs are critical in vehicles, electronics, appliances, agriculture, defence, aerospace, and medical industries, making Ranok’s innovation a key milestone for Indian manufacturing.
Reliance Intelligence
At its 48th AGM, Reliance Industries introduced Reliance Intelligence, a new AI subsidiary. Mukesh Ambani announced that Reliance Intelligence will build India’s AI infrastructure, hiring researchers, engineers, and product designers. Reliance Industries has partnered with Google to create a dedicated AI cloud region in Jamnagar, Gujarat, powered by the Dhirubhai Ambani Giga Energy Complex, which will manufacture solar panels, batteries, and electrolyzers for green hydrogen. Reliance Industries also announced a $100 million joint venture with Meta to deliver enterprise AI solutions built on Llama. Reliance is in talks with OpenAI through its partnership with Microsoft. Reliance Intelligence marks a major step in India’s enterprise AI journey.
Reliance Unveils JioFrames Smart Glasses
Reliance Industries also revealed JioFrames, new AI-powered smart glasses. Promoted with features like live translation, video recording, live streaming, and music, the JioFrames launch follows an earlier Reliance smart glasses product, JioGlass, announced in 2020 but never mass-produced. Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries is positioning JioFrames against products like Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses, though details remain limited. The move highlights Reliance’s ambition to expand into consumer AI hardware through Reliance Intelligence and its ecosystem.
boAt and HrdWyr Launch Indus 1011 Chip
boAt has partnered with Bengaluru-based HrdWyr to launch the Indus 1011 chip, designed for battery management in charging cases. HrdWyr is a fabless semiconductor startup, and Tata Electronics will assemble and package the chip in India. Fabrication is expected to be handled by Taiwan’s Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC), as Tata Electronics is building India’s first semiconductor fab in Gujarat with PSMC. boAt said 80% of its products are currently manufactured in India, up from 70% in 2023, with plans to reach 90-95%. The boAt and HrdWyr collaboration highlights India’s progress toward localising semiconductor design and assembly.
