Here's another ASMR Tissue Paper video for you all! It's been a while since I last made one, and the yearning in my belly to create another one was irresistible.
I wonder, how many people still use tissue paper these days to add to a gift bag? In my experience, it's rare.
I have one friend who is an expert at wrapping gifts. She's a natural. When she gives a present, the way her gifts are wrapped is almost as beautiful as the gift itself. A work of art.
I appreciate that so much about her, as very few people these days care about how a gift is presented. I swear, unwrapping one of her gifts, feels like sacrilege. I can't help but always say "I'm sorry", as I'm desecrating the expert wrapping to get to the gift.

This video is an ode to tissue paper and all its ASMR qualities. It has a similar vibe to newspaper pages, but it's louder and should be handled more delicately.

Shamefully, I have to admit that I had originally filmed this video when I wasn't feeling the calmest, handling the tissue paper as if it were regular paper. Big mistake.
When editing, I discovered that the crackly tissue paper sounds were just too much for the average ear to handle. Decibel overload.
So I filmed it again, much slower and more deliberate this time. Giving more space and time for the crinkles to come into their own.
