A compact clock strike mechanism making use of standard Meccano parts. It strikes the hours on the hour and a single passing strike on the half-hour. It is electrically driven and makes good use of Elektrikit parts in its construction. No fabrication of special cams is required. The unit may be built into any clock type (e.g. pendulum, escape wheel, synchronous, etc) by coupling to the minute hand shaft of the mechanism.
