Fundraising by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Toronto Branch for aid to Ukraine at the 34th Ukrainian Independence Day Celebration in Centennial Park in Etobicoke (GTA). The event has grown over the years and had a full day of talented entertainment of Ukrainian song and dance. Siromaha was the headline act as a special guest from Ukraine. He is going on a Canadian tour after this show, organized by Kazka Entertainment.
This Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations was organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Toronto Branch.

Маркіян Швець з КУК Торонто проводить збірку на допомогу України на 34ій Річниці Дня Незалежності України - від Совєтського Союзу після коло 70 років окупації, 3 Голодоморів, лиха, та бідноти. Лише у 2014 в Україні провели політику декомунізації з Леніопадом - зняття комуністичних памятників та змінення тисячів вулиць від комуністичних назв. Замість того щоб робити своїх потрібних реформів, Президент Путін та війська РФ підло напали на Україну щоб берегти совєцьку спадщину яка досі лишилася тільки в окупаційних зонів.
Свято в Торонті організовано Конгресом Українців Канади (КУК) відділ Торонто.

The 34th Ukrainian Independence Day was celebrated in the Greater Toronto Area in Centennial Park with a full day of festivities with talented entertainment from Canada and guests from Ukraine, many vendors and other activities. On 24th of August, 1991 the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada-Parliament declared independence and left the Soviet Union after around 70 years of occupation, 3 major state created Holodomor genocide-famines and widespread oppression.
Because Marxism was so deeply rooted after so many years of occupation, it was only after 2014 that Ukraine adopted an official decommunization policy and removed the Lenin and other communist statues and street names which were dominating most cities, towns and villages in the country. Rather than making its own needed reforms, President Putin and Russia invaded Ukraine soon afterwards to try to protect the Soviet legacy which remains in occupied areas.
