Childhood Fishing Spot Revisited!

We headed out to Lockyer’s Bay Brook for the May 24 weekend — a childhood fishing spot of mine! It was Danny, Cheryl, Madison, and Daxton from The Outdoor Guys crew. Madison reeled in the biggest trout of the day, but the real winner might’ve been the seagull that swiped one of our catches when we weren’t looking! 😂

We only caught 3 or 4 trout, but the laughs and memories were what made it. The ocean was calm, the seabirds were loud, and the blackflies were relentless. I even got stuck for a bit trying to cross with the tide coming in. And no, Tony wasn’t there — trout fishing’s not really his thing. 😆
