Metallica - The Magnetic Era - The Virtual Concert Experience - (2009)

Here is the virtual concert experience dedicated to my personal favourite album Death Magnetic. In regards to keeping the setlist fairly balanced, I didn't include every Death Magnetic song. The rest of the Death Magnetic songs will make an appereance on the next video though along with a completely different setlist which will be at an outdoor live setting.

Since there wasn't much quality live material from their indoor shows during their Death Magnetic tour, I basically combined Quebec Magnetic and Copenhagen performances along with a couple nice finds into a one super setlist. The setlist is completely different and I added my personal touch to transitions from song to song so it should be an interesting listen nevertheless. Once more there will be a "stripped" version released which can be considered as one big and epic live album for this tour.

I made this one with love for Metallica. I hope you enjoy and give me some feedback if you so wish. For the setlist I tried to pick songs that I like while giving love to every era of Metallica. The setlist for this one will be added a bit later with time stamps. So the setlist would be a surprise for new viewers and this is something I'm gonna do with my upcoming videos as well.

That being said I'll continue making these live compilations because I'll love listening to these by myself and if some other people do too, it's a plus :) I like to have fun with making these videos but I'll always release a "stripped" version meaning that there's only the music and not any intros/outros to provide an easier way to listen to the live songs just like a live album.

At last I want to thank Metallica for letting me use their material for making this video! Truly a one big Metallica family. :)
