Swapping Bodies, Your Name, and Gender Identity

On todays episode our hero visits another trope that many people seemed to resonate with, the body swapping episode and all the gender that comes along with it. This gave her an excuse to look back at one of her favorite films, Your Name, and look at it through a lens of how it relates back to identity. On this journey she discovers what makes a classic body swap, how it relates to being trans, and why it's not the best representation of that experience. After slaying an oppressive adversary (the youtube copyright system) she's able to share her findings with the world and complete the journey she set out on two months prior.
