Hace pocos días, el guía y experto en safaris Himanshu Bagde informó que el destino de Chhota Matka pende de un hilo: su recuperación depende de una fractura articular complicada. El gran tigre fue tranquilizado y trasladado fuera de su hogar para recibir tratamiento en Chandrapur. Y en los últimos días las noticias sobre su estado son desalentadoras: la fractura tiene escasas posibilidades de sanar por completo y, si no logra cazar por sí mismo, jamás podrá regresar a la naturaleza.
