(Filmed January 17, 2026) Here’s my walk around tour of the Great America Station Pedestrian Railroad Crossing in Santa Clara CA near the Great America amusement park on the Union Pacific Coast Subdivision mainline. This crossing is a traditional pedestrian crossing that has had a few changes over the years. It used to have a WCH mechanical bell. Looking south, the VTA Orange Line goes right above the station. There’s also block signals at both ends of the station. This crossing owned by Union Pacific is an SP early to mid 1990s signal install with changes to a bell and some of its lights.
