Triton Elementary Schools 4th annual Trojan PRIDE kickoff took place on Thursday September 18th @ 2pm in the Triton Elementary Gymnasium. Trojan PRIDE is the Triton Elementary Positive Behavior Intervention Supports and is the recognition all of the hard work and effort that staff and students have put into showing characteristics we strive to achieve at Triton (Personal Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Enthusiasm).
We have had special guests each year that include Major League baseball player Eric Stults, 4H Princess Mallory Stuckey,and the Harlem Wizard basketball team. This year we will invite Justin Vining, a Triton Graduate. Justin has a teaching degree from Purdue University, a law degree from Valparaiso University and now it a full time artist in Indianapolis. Justin will do a time lapse video of him painting a piece for Triton Elementary but will also unveil the 2014-2015 Official Trojan PRIDE t-shirt for our students to see for the first time. This shirt is earned by those students who show the characteristics of PRIDE throughout their day and in the community. 6th grade students of TES have submitted drawings for the possibility of being the winning designer of the t-shirt.
