The TBI 300 billet exhaust manifold is easy to install. The one thing is you may have to replace your base gasket. The existing exhaust manifold gaskets can be reused. Just remove the existing gasket sealer, and re-apply new gasket sealant to them.
Start by taking off your cylinder. The securing bolts with spring hooks get removed and re-used on the new billet manifold. Once together, you may have to loosen up and adjust the springs to get the right tension. You can use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry the old manifold of the cylinder and break the existing gasket seal.
Gasket maker is great for the big gaskets. On the outside little gaskets, you can use clear RTV silicone. Put it all back together. Wipe off all the excess sealer. Make sure you give it all 8 hours to dry before riding, or you may get a pressure leak.
