LYME DIARIES: the most perfect day in Edinburgh

Hi friends! My name is Emilia and I am an actor, singer, and human with Lyme disease, Bartonella, and babesiosis. These fun tick-borne illnesses have also caused the development of pots and MCAS. I used to be very private about these things and more recently have begun not only documenting, but sharing my journey battling, managing, and living with these conditions. This year, 2025, I have been in a flare and treatment, while simultaneously reaching a lot of highs in my professional and personal life. While my life might not be the average example of a person living with chronic illness, it’s something that affects me every single day that I have learned to live with, and even at times thrive with. Lately, it’s been tougher! Having a disease like Lyme is incredibly lonely, and when I’ve searched for those who share my experience, the results are few and far between. Deciding to share my experience is really weird and very rewarding, so thank you all who have been along for the journey so far. This vlog is a pretty perfect day, and those are hard to come by. I am an incredibly lucky person to feel so loved and so fortunate, I hope this is fun, I promise this is not every day haha. Thank you for being here, hope you enjoy me and two people I adore.
