Two years have passed since the onset of the war on Gaza and as we enter a third year, the world is finally taking serious steps to halt this genocide. Indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel have resumed in Cairo, and the international community, particularly President Trump, who proposed the latest ceasefire plan, waits with bated breath, hoping for an end to the violence. Although Israel has violated previous ceasefires, and is now launching a new ground invasion of Gaza, along with further land seizures in the occupied West Bank, there remains hope that common ground can be found.
