Join me on a lush and refreshing monsoon journey to Deoria Tal, one of the most scenic treks in Uttarakhand, located near Ukhimath in the Rudraprayag district. This crystal-clear lake sits peacefully at an altitude of around 8000 ft, surrounded by thick forests and towering Himalayan peaks.

The trek begins from the beautiful Sari Village, a small hamlet with the official Deoria Tal Trek gate on the main road. It’s an easy-to-moderate 6 km trek, perfect for beginners and nature lovers.

You can visit after your Tungnath and Chandrashila Journey.✨

On the way, you’ll pass the Omkar Ratneshwar Temple, dedicated to Nag Devta, adding a spiritual touch to the natural beauty around. The monsoon season adds a different charm — lush greenery, clouds kissing the mountain peaks, and mist floating over the lake’s surface make it look like a scene from a dream.

From Deoria Tal, you get panoramic views of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, Satopanth, Thalay Sagar, and many other Himalayan giants. Even in the misty monsoon, these peaks peek through the clouds, offering truly mesmerizing moments.
