Mostaccioli napoletani are soft biscuits made with almond flour and covered with chocolate that are generally prepared and consumed during the Christmas holidays.
Mostaccioli are without eggs, dairy free, low in fat and it's easy to make a vegan version of them without compromise the taste.
In this video I will show you step by step how to prepare the best mostaccioli you have ever eaten and I will share with you some secrets and tricks.
Recipe for about 70 mostaccioli:
8 cups (1 Kg) of flour
2 ½ cups (300 g) of almond flour
1 pinch of salt
¾ cup (70 g) of unsweetened cocoa
1 ¾ cup (350 g) of sugar
1 ½ Tbsp (15 g) pisto
1 Tbsp (13 g) ammonia
1 orange (peel and juice)
½ cup (160 g) of honey
1-1 1/2 cup (250-370 ml) of water
7-8 (700-800 g) of chocolate
