So Volume 3 of my train sounds compilation is here, and this time I went back to the beautiful SWR line of Goa, where I recorded my first set of videos for this series. This compilation has an added bonus - all clips were recorded from the first coach of the train, with an EMD WDP4 in the lead. Meaning there are some very different track sounds owing to the three-axle bogie of the locomotive followed by the two-axle bogie of the coach. This is accompanied by the constant humming of that beautiful 2-stroke V16 diesel engine.
Some wind noise and the banter of a few noisy co-passengers made its way into the video, but I have kept it that way without messing about with the audio.
