This is a DIY Candlestick Holder woodworking gift project that's inexpensive and simple. It's made from western red cedar and the shape made using a homemade wood lathe. The overall size is 6" Long by 2 1/2" Base Diameter. There are ballast weight added to the bottom using inexpensive metal bolts and nuts, there's a velvet cloth bottom, and the finish is clear urethane. The top hole size is determined by the size diameter of candles to be used. But in this case I used 1/2" hole size because the holder is to be used for doll dress forms. Several of these holders are going to be turned so there's a paper pattern to try to make them as similar as possible.
