Can you fix your own chipped windshield? Yes You Can With an Easy DIY!
In this episode I fix a windshield chip on the 2008 GMC Sierra. So there I was, driving along, minding my own business, when out of nowhere I get a stone chip! Since I was already on my way to NAPA to get other project parts I picked up a Permatex windshield repair kit.
This kit cost about $15 and took about an hour to install or whatever you'd call it. Anyhoo, the process was pretty simple and the results were about what I expected. The main takeaway is the windshield is repaired and should last many more years...fingers crossed!
