Safeguarding Children is at the forefront of the Falklands mind after the prosecution of several sexual offence cases involving young children and historical cases. As part of this, a campaign by Falkland Islands Safeguarding Children's Board will be unveiled in July 2014. In the build up to this pivotal point in the Falklands, multiple agencies and trainers have visited the Islands to train local volunteers and agency workers to polish their skills, in the hope of helping people in the Islands.
