Hello everyone,
We bring you today an in-depth scientific report from a citrus farm located in El-Salhia, Ismailia Governorate, Egypt, where the farm has achieved remarkable success thanks to plant protective nutrition, balanced fertilization, and eco-friendly fertilizers. The farm reached an average productivity of 25 tons per acre, with over 95% export quality, making it one of the leading sources of orange exports to Asian markets (China, Singapore, Malaysia), European markets, as well as Brazil and Canada.
The Fertilization Approach:
The farm adopted the plant protective nutrition approach developed by Mohamed Helal, focusing on:
• Gradually adapting the trees to balanced, eco-friendly fertilizers.
• Reducing the need for costly and not healthy plant protection sprays.
Fertilizers Used and Their Impact:
Nile Fertile:
• Applied for 14 years to address issues related to salinity, alkalinity, and calcium carbonates.
• Resulted in the disappearance of symptoms typically caused by salinity, which is common in the El-Salhia region.
Vigro Nitrogen:
• Used for 7 years as an eco-friendly nitrogen source.
• Supports vegetative growth without affecting fruit or flower quality, even when harvest is delayed.
• Prevents nitrate accumulation by converting nitrogen quickly into amino acids, ensuring optimal phosphorus absorption and healthy root development.
Vigro Iron, Vigro Zinc, and Vigro Manganese:
• Applied for the first time this year, improving vitamin C and vitamin B12 levels while accelerating fruit ripening and coloration.
Remarkable Improvements in Yield and Quality:
• Significant quality improvement in fruit juice percent concentrate and overall fruit quality.
• Leaves stayed dark green as evidence of optimum nutrient redistribution and utilization.
• Accelerated ripening and coloration gave the farm a competitive edge in export markets.
Recommendations:
• Continue applying Nile Fertile to enhance the soil’s nutrient absorption capacity.
• Maintain current fertilization programs while regularly monitoring for nutritional balance.
Scientific Summary:
The analysis revealed an excellent balance of major and trace nutrients, with no harmful fungal or microbial activity detected. The key recommendation is to continue the application of Nile Fertile and balanced fertilization programs using eco-friendly fertilizers to achieve optimal plant protective nutrition, enhancing tree health and sustaining high productivity and export quality.
Key Facts and Export Success:
✨ How was this success achieved?
The farm followed Mohamed Helal’s plant protective nutrition program.
🍊 Exceptional results this year:
• Significant improvement in fruit quality and juice concentrate.
• Increased levels of vitamin C and vitamin B12.
• Faster ripening and better coloration.
• Dark green leaves reflecting optimum nutrient redistribution and utilization through Vigro Iron, Vigro Zinc, and Vigro Manganese.
🌱 These achievements made the farm a leader in export quality.
