The night we were inducted into The Songwriters Hall of Fame by our dear friend Usher was unforgettable.
Usher calls us “mentors of the industry”—but our legacy would not be possible without the mentorship of Clarence Avant. We see our collaborators as part of a musical lineage: we are all responsible for bringing and building each other up.
Songwriting is about inspiration and Usher’s quest for musical excellence truly is inspiring. We’re so happy to continue on our journey of creativity with Usher and our friends The Avila Brothers.
You’ll hear the results of our collaboration in just a few days on July 9th when #JamAndLewisVol1 is finally out. This 35 year in the making body of work means so much to us, and we’re so excited to finally share it with you.
