Matildas captain Sam Kerr has announced she will become a mum next year.
The 31-year-old posted a black and white photo collage announcing her partner Kristie Mewis is pregnant.
More than 70,000 people reacted to the photo within 30 minutes of the post going live.
The pair first began dating in 2021 before becoming engaged last year.
