This small village at the innermost point of the Hardangerfjord is home to less than 1,000 people yet it’s well known in tourist circles. That’s because in normal times cruise ships dock here to allow international visitors easy access to Hardanger region attractions such as the waterfall and canyon Vøringsfossen and the vast Hardangervidda National Park.

This walk with ambient sound takes you around the village centre of Eidfjord, including the “knitted trees”, the waterfront views and the old Eidfjord church. I shot this 4K walk on a very warm evening in July 2021.
