DAY 2 of the Gémino Abad Seminar-Workshop (GASW) for Teachers “RHYTHM n’ BOTS: Teaching Lit in the Time of AI – Poetry, Prose, and Prompt” opened its second day with a lecture and workshop by Carljoe Javier on “Understanding Generative AI and Exploring How We Bring It Into the Classroom”. It was followed by a lecture and workshop by May-i Padilla who discussied “AI-Powered Content Creation for Secondary Teachers”.
Capping off today’s sessions was a roundtable discussion on AI use vis-à-vis accessible and liberating creative writing and teaching practices. It was moderated by Dr. Vladimeir Gonzales.
