if your CPS2 game is losing its volume setting the CC18 supercap has probably failed due to old age. it's encouraged that you at least inspect this cap because it can leak and cause mayhem. here's my entire demonstration of how to do this replacement with a bonus install of 3D printed volume/test buttons to strangely kind of color coordinate with this Powered Gear JP.
