Each year we get excited for the roar trips we do and we get excited for our clients heading into the bush for a week of hunting. These trips are highly anticipated and sometimes if it is your first heli drop for the roar or you have just gone and bought loads of new gear specifically for the event, it is easy to get carried away with what you need to take.
@NZHunterMagazine have put together this quick video which helps to give some tips on what to pack and what not to pack for your helicopter trip. They go through each item with suggested alternatives to bulky, heavy items which are dangerous to take on the helicopter and have the potential to contribute to exceeding weight limits which apply when we are flying.
