I’ve always said that wrong! Sorry.
I’m also not commenting on any current Pleasure Boats operating out of Bridlington.
Back in the 1950’s ( my childhood) anything went. One of those big Pleasure Boats - tapped its bottom on a sandbar just outside the harbour and sank rapidly by the stern - allegedly. Fortunately in only around 5 feet of water.
I seem to remember that might have been the old wooden hulled Bridlington Queen.
