7 recitals – 7 up-and-coming pianists – 1 day of Chopin

As part of the 7th Chopin Festival Hamburg 2025, we are presenting a brand new format: the Chopin Marathon.
On June 29, seven participants in this year's 19th International Chopin Competition in Warsaw will perform in seven consecutive recitals. The focus will be on the participants and Chopin's work. With this format, the Chopin Festival is bringing a selection of young artists to Hamburg whose musical development is currently being followed with particular interest. The marathon not only offers you a preview of the upcoming competition rounds in Warsaw, but also the opportunity to experience different interpretations in direct comparison – all within one day.

7 Recitals – 7 aufstrebende Pianist:innen – 1 Tag Chopin
Im Rahmen des 7. Chopin Festivals Hamburg 2025 präsentieren wir ein ganz neues Format: den Chopin-Marathon.
In sieben aufeinanderfolgenden Recitals treten am 29. Juni sieben Teilnhehmer:innen des diesjährigen 19. Internationalen Chopin-Wettbewerb Warschau auf. Die Teilnehmer:innen und Chopins Werk stehen hierbei im Mittelpunkt. Mit diesem Format bringt das Chopin Festival eine Auswahl junger Künstler:innen nach Hamburg, deren musikalische Entwicklung derzeit besonders aufmerksam verfolgt wird. Der Marathon bietet Ihnen nicht nur einen Ausblick auf die kommenden Wettbewerbsrunden in Warschau, sondern auch die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Interpretationen im direkten Vergleich zu erleben – innerhalb eines Tages.
