No 🙅🏿‍♀️AI is not the printing press, calculator or even the camera....

There's a great divide between AI evangelists and the general public that is mostly anti AI. What is interesting for me, has been how anti AI folks push back against any criticism of AI. You are either stupid for protesting AI, just like teachers who protested calculators, or a pessimist, like the painters who thought photography would kill painting. Ai has also been compared to the printing press, giving access to information to millions who never had it before. While I agree that some similarities exist between the disruption that these technologies are causing, I believe that the comparisons fall flat without context and nuance. In this video, I try to bring nuance to these comparisons. Enjoy.
