🔥கருமலை, அய்யாசாமி கோவில், கோயம்புத்தூர், UNKNOWN Divine Secrets of Karumalai Ayyasamy Temple

Temple is fews kms away from Theethipalayam village, Perur road, Coimbatore. No bus till the hills. Open only on Mondays and on all NO moon days. Open from 8 am onwards. Hence, it will not be crowded much. The new temple is being built in the foothills. The hill temple is situated in the middle of the rock mountain. There is one more temple situated at the top of the hill, but it will be allowed only one day during the month of Chithirai.

The path to the temple is made with rock steps. Need to walk barefoot. On the way to the temple, a few statues are there for worship. The hike is steep, and we will be gasping for breath frequently. On a pedometer, it is approximately 1000 steps.

Poojas are done after 12 pm. First with milk and at 1 pm main pooja starts. There are certain beliefs/procedures to be followed at the top, which I am not mentioning here. One needs to visit there to experience. Legends say that a cow gave milk to Lord Sivan/Ayyasamy. On the way, a statue is there showing the same, which is what is in the top too.

One can feel the strength and vibration of the temple during the pooja time. Since it is open only on Monday, not all can visit. Need to plan and hike. Barefooted descending was very difficult due to heat in the rocky path. Though descending is easy, the heat on the path makes it very difficult to come down. One can wear socks or tie any tight clothes on the foot to avoid heat. A forest official will be there at the entrance. Heard that elephants will be coming at the foothills and need to be careful during the early morning or during the evening. A great satisfaction and accomplishment after descending down.
