day in the life *mcgill student version ☆🎧

hiiii in this vlog, i share with you a day of my life at mcgill, some of the things i get up to in a day! studying, extracurriculars, library dates, cooking, dealing with inconveniences 😎 this was not my best work in terms of organization and editing, perhaps some of my worst since i learned how to edit, and also i talked way too much about nothing at all ahhh. but i did suddenly remember the existence of J and L cuts for this video 😏 i think it’s just one of those ones where i gotta accept my losses and just publish it. i told myself i would only give myself until my laptop died (from 74%, no charging) to finish editing and to publish it. well, i plugged my laptop in 5 hours ago and i’ve been editing since. i swear my sd card is 10 minutes away from combusting. i wanted to go to bed at a reasonable time, but alas the birds are chirping again, which is such a glorious sound to wake up to, not fall asleep to 😔 the videos where i tend to talk about my own thoughts and experiences aren't the most interesting, but oop it’s still important to me and i want to document my experience. sometimes a girl just needs to rant about her uti for 10 minutes.

also i feel like i rambled in circles at the end there and never got to any conclusive remarks, i basically just felt like i wasn’t, i suppose, for lack of better word, mcgill enough to post anything mcgill branded. i don’t really exude school spirit to be honest, i’ve never been to a football game, ever. i don’t know why that’s a measure of school spirit, actually, no, that does make sense. when engineering students start chanting their lil chants, i get nervous. i have the alcohol tolerance of a chihuahua so i’m not the biggest partier, and my classes have me longing for a time when women weren't allowed to go to college (this is satire, mostly). but ultimately, i think college can be a really daunting, isolating experience at times, no matter who you are. and whose to say, you have to be the perfect student to be given the right to share that experience? so i’m going to share my life as a struggling uni student and the mundane activities that i’m lucky enough to experience day by day.

also i want to clarify again that this is a very, very productive day for me, usually there’s a lot more bedrotting, doomscrolling, and napping. also, i do not usually wake up at 6am, help who am i, only on days i have night shifts!!
