Ron Sexton, a radio character and jokester who engaged great many audience members with his humorous characters and pantomimes, died on Friday at 52 years old.
He was best known for his role as Donnie Baker, a redneck who frequently called in to “The Bob & Tom Show” with his outrageous stories and opinions.
A Life of Laughter and Creativity
Sexton was brought up in Indianapolis, where he fostered energy for parody and radio.
He started his career as a disc jockey at WFBQ-FM, where he met Tom Griswold, the co-host of “The Bob & Tom Show”. Griswold invited him to join the show as a writer and voice actor in 2001.
