Fergie II: Polishing 1966 VW Beetle Deck Lid

Starting with a 3" pneumatic direct drive polisher, Spook hits the hard to reach edges. Then he brings out the 5" polisher with a 6.5" pad on it (from Griot's Garage). Spook likes that it's a low-throw polisher.

This is a one-stage polish. The gist of it is getting the polish to break down by continuing to add water as you clear the debris of the old paint, to the point where it completely disappears. That's what you can do if you wet sand up to 8,000.
