Chhatu masala ( Odia ) | Mushroom masala : It is a very delicious and spicy gravy dish . It is prepared with button mushrooms and masala ( paste ) . This gravy goes very well with paratha. It can also be enjoyed with roti, naan, chapati or with any rice items . So try it out and enjoy .

Ingredients:
1. Mushroom - 200gm
2. Sliced onion - 1 ( small )
3. Diced tomato - 1 ( medium )
4. Dry fenugreek leaves - 1 tsp
5. Cumin & mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
6. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp or 1/2 tbsp
7. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tbsp ( for a beautiful colour )
8. Meat masala ** Recommended ( to get better taste with wonderful aroma )
9. Salt to taste
10. Mustard oil - 2 tbsp ** Recommended
11. Water - 1/2 glass ( as required )
For making masala ( paste ) we need :
1. Onion - 2 ( big )
2. Garlic - ( 8-10 cloves )
3. Ginger - 1 inch
4. Dry red chilli - 2 ( you can use more or less )
5. Cinnamon - 1
6. Green cardamom - 2 ( crushed )
7. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
