Cockatiel Room: December 2025 - Part 1

Cockatiel room video, recorded in late 2025, mid-December 2025. This is the first video.

In December 2025, the weather was quite variable, but tended to be hot. This occurred over several consecutive days. This was unlike November 2025, when the weather tended to be cold and rainy. The cockatiels were seen several times experiencing heat exhaustion, as they could tell by their tongue sticking out and panting, as if exhausted. This usually happened around 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, when the weather is usually very hot. The cockatiels sometimes bathed in aluminum bowls. I think this was recorded several times, but we forget in which timestamp. However, December 2025 was certainly not as hot as September and October 2025, which was the peak of the hot weather in 2025 in our area.

This time, we fed the cockatiels a mix of fresh vegetables, including curly lettuce, fresh water spinach, small mung bean sprouts, finely chopped carrots, and shredded chicory. The cockatiels absolutely loved the mung bean sprouts and water spinach. However, they also enjoyed carrots and other vegetables.
