4K Virtual Walk - Horse Farm in Denmark - We take a close look at the many beautiful horses 🐴

I was very fortunate to visit a beautiful Horse Farm 🐎

I don't have any info to share about these horses, nor the location I was at.
But I was allowed to film the horses. So thanks for that 🙂

My mother had a riding school for 30 years, so horses was a big part of my childhood. I was a godfather for a horse named Tamara 💚
I have many great memories with horses and a bad one hehe. I once broke my arm because of a horse.
It was nice being around those big beautiful creatures again.

There are approx. 175,000 horses in Denmark, which are held by approx. 80,000 families.

Horses are named according to their age and sex:
Jump: Full-grown female horse
Stallion: Full-grown male horse
Gelding: Castrated male horse
Plag: A young, not yet grown horse
Foals: A horse under 1 year old
Horse breeds are further typically divided into the following 4 categories:
Thoroughbreds (English and Arabic)
Trotters (equestrian and driving)
Heavy horses (migratory horses)
Ponies (less than 148 cm in height)

There are many different horse breeds, all of which vary in sizes, activity levels and characteristics. Among the more popular horse breeds here in Denmark include:
Shire
Holstener
Shetlander
Shetland Pony
Danish Warmblood
Friezes
Icelandic horse
The Jutland horse
Belgian
Fjord Horse
Pinto
Icelander
New Forest
Oldenborg
