This is the official podcast of Ireland's premiere academy dedicated to sequential art, design and production.
In this very special episode we are joined by David Barry, the son of legendary artist Sy Barry.
Sy Barry is famous around the world for his prolific career as the artist on The Phantom strips, which under Barry’s tenure as artist, reached an international readership of hundreds of millions around the globe.
In addition to his work on Phantom, Sy also, contributed as inker to the very first Krypto story in Adventure Comics #210.
David is now working on a new project to chronicle his father’s career in a book. This episode is a preview of what to expect from that book.
