I've never ever posted a Blondie song or video on my channel before but I'd thought I would post this one.
War Child was the 2nd and final single from the band's their sixth studio album The Hunter and would therefore be the last new Blondie single for seventeen years until 1999 when the band reformed and released "Maria".
The song reached no 39 in the charts.
Unlike most Blondie songs this song never had a music video so I created one simply using a live performance of the band performing the song on their Tracks Across America Tour in 1982 which I found elsewhere.
Apologies if some parts don't sync up right there were times were Debbie was singing the lines slightly differently to the studio version.
I do not own the music used in this video all rights go to respectful owners.
